Girls Camp

2024 Girls Summer Volleyball Camps

Below is the information for all of our 2024 Girls Volleyball Camps.  There are potentially 5 weeks of camps, with 3 different programs (General Skills is being offered separately in Monmouth and Ocean counties- HS Boot Camp has two weeks).   Space is first come, first serve.   Every summer, we have long waiting lists, so do not delay.   If a particular camp fills up(noted below and/or on the registration form), and you’d like to join the wait-list, you can do so by still completing the registration form.  Please do not make a payment if joining the wait-list.  At this time, 3 of our camps are not open yet.

Waitlisted camps- None at this time.

General Skills Ocean VB GCU Camp

July 8-11, 2024 (9:00-4:00PM)
Cost: $425 ($400 Discounted Price until May 15th)
Hosted at Georgian Court University (Lakewood, NJ)

Open to Girls Grades 7-10.

This camp is best for athletes of beginner skill levels and those with some experience.

The General Skills VB Camp will be run in a typical sports camp fashion. Each day will consist of basic/advanced skill training in the morning, followed by more of a play oriented afternoon to reinforce the skills and techniques. Athletes will be separated and grouped by age/skill levels for a good portion of camp. This camp will prepare athletes for HS/MS/Club team tryouts.

This camp is best for those who are either brand new, or not yet at an advanced level of the game (so middle school through JV teams). Those returning varsity athletes would be recommended to attend another camp, but are welcome.

Can an athlete participate in both General Skills Camp? Yes. Officially, we rotate many of our court coaches around camp to camp, and even our Head Coaches want some variation, so each camp does end up being unique.

This camp is run by the staff of the Georgian Court University Women's Volleyball team.

Open to Girls aged 14-18 (HS Aged-Full Day)

The Blue & White VB Camp will be run in a typical sports camp fashion, fully programmed by CBA Head Volleyball Coach/GCU Assistant Coach Jason Ulrich.

For our HS aged athletes, each day will consist of basic/advanced skill training in the morning, followed by more of a play oriented afternoon to reinforce the skills and techniques. Athletes will be separated and grouped by age/skill levels for portions of camp. This camp will prepare athletes for HS team tryouts. New HS players, without experience, may be a better fit at a General Skills Camp.

This camp is run by the staff of the Christian Brothers Academy, Georgian Court University Women's Volleyball team, as well as other experienced HS and Club coaches.

Can an athlete participate in multiple camps? Yes. Officially, we rotate many of our court coaches around camp to camp, and even our Head Coaches want some variation, so each camp does end up being unique.

This camp is best for athletes with a basic understanding of the sport.

This has always been our most popular and quickest-to-be-filled camp. We are excited to bring this camp to a host site with 3 courts.

The #1 goal of this camp is to prepare female athletes for their upcoming High School volleyball tryouts!

This camp will follow an intense camp schedule; combining skill instruction, rigorous drills, and competitive games to get the most out of our athletes. Our morning skill sessions are run just like our NCAA Division II college pre-season, with a focus on technique. Our afternoon sessions are meant to be competitive and reinforce the skills we mastered in the morning. Athletes will be grouped by skill/age. Camp ends with our always competitive, Camp Tournament.

Camp FAQ's

If camps were to be canceled, we would give 100% refunds for deposits and all moneys paid towards camps (just as we did for the ’20 Spring Clinic, all ’20 Summer Camps, etc. ) There may be instances where it is possible to reschedule an early camp for later in the summer.  In that case, you would have the option of a 100% refund or still participating in the new camp dates.

It is our intention to follow federal and NJ regulations for all future programs.

Please read the camp descriptions and who they are best suited for.  If you are not sure, reach out and we can provide recommendations.  We have many weeks of camps, we want to ensure everyone gets the most out of camp.  Officially, camps are only limited by gender and to those who fit the age range.

All camps require both the registration form and a deposit to reserve your child’s spot.  Your spot is not saved if a deposit is not received.  If you are concerned about a check not making it in time, then deposit by card to ensure your spot is reserved.

Waiting lists are created once camps have reached capacity.  As registrants pull out (for any reason) we refer to this list to offer newly opened spots.  This could be 2 months before camp to even day 1 of camp.  Things do come up, so it is very typical for numerous athletes from the waiting list to be admitted into camps.

GCU has air conditioning, St. George has air conditioning.  Brick Memorial has air conditioning.  CBA is not air-conditioned and will be hot.  We will update this list as the other sites are solidified.

Since COVID, all drinks and food must be brought by the athlete, and kept in their possession.   Please ensure your child has enough for the full day, then a few extra bottles on top of that.  Camp is a long week, so our campers need to ensure they are hydrated and eating properly.

As stated on our website, camp deposits are non-refundable.  As a courtesy policy for those who do register early to save their spot, we will refund 100% if the request is 60 days before day 1 of camp.  Between 60 and 14 days, the deposit is non-refundable, but the balance of camp may be refunded.  Within 14 days, all camp payments are non-refundable.

Those who want to edit their registration in any way should email us directly.  We can add you to an additional camp, switch camps, or make any other changes necessary.  This is of course if space is still available.

If you are certain you want the other camp, you can hold tight while we solidify contracts.  We would update the website, and post on social media, once the new sites have been finalized.  If you are not sure, you can always register for another camp, and then I can move you if the new one fits your schedule better (or add the second camp if you want both).
